In the morning, we had a nice breakfast provided by Panorama Guest House, then set off to take a walk and clear our heads. April used the African Baby Sling to carry Sarah:
It is seemingly impossible for Germans to keep their clothes on:
We loaded up and headed to The Kruger. On the way in, we saw the first of the Big 5 - the water buffalo, on and beside the road. What luck!
We slowly made our way to the Skukuza camp ground, where we had four Bungalows for the evening. On the way we saw warthogs:
A white rhino - #2 of Big 5 (that was spooked by our vehicles and therefore spooked me):
And a bunch of elephants (#3 of Big 5):
We took some detour paths and found zebra and giraffe as well:
Monkeys and baboon are abundant in Kruger (and in Africa in general):
We arrived just before the gates closed at 6 p.m. at the Skukuza rest camp, where we had a nice braai, preparing for our next day at Kruger!
