1/23/2009: Trip to Durban

Today we packed up the Caravan and drove for around six hours to Durban. My mom had made sandwiches for lunch, so about halfway we stopped at a roadside park and had a picnic lunch. It was wonderfully decorated and the playground was great!



On the way we saw many amazing sights - little painted huts, cattle, and trees dotted the horizon and the closer we came to the coast, the more often we saw beautiful mountains and vegetation.



We stayed at the Hilton (thank you Orbitz!), and not the Holiday Inn. It was fantastic!
